Visiting Van Gogh

London provides daily opportunities for inspiration, and often around the most surprising corners, but when a major exhibition of the works of one of the world's most famous artists comes to town, it is not to be missed.

For Kristjana and her creative team, Van Gogh: Poet & Lovers Exhibition at the National Gallery was one of the highlights of last month; they walked beneath starry skies, looked up at swirling clouds and cypress trees swaying in the wind and stopped to ponder in Van Gogh’s favourite park, the ‘Poet’s Garden’, and under a shady tree in Saint-Rémy...

This is the first time both Van Gogh's Sunflowers paintings have been seen together since they were created in 1889, and viewing them in person, displayed in their intended triptych

(along with a portrait of a lady, La Berceuse) was incredibly inspiring.

The timing of this exhibition was particularly poignant as Van Gogh's work recently featured in Kristjana's new Ode to Art Limited Edition print.

Ode to Art - Discoveries of the World celebrates the pivotal art movements that guided the history of painting in early Europe, from the gothic and romanesque of the Medieval period to the dreamlike confusion of Surrealism.

Take a closer look at this new best seller, where Kristjana celebrates her love of the arts and the flower-covered continents they influenced.
