The story behind the artwork

Two majestic Lear parrots, their forms magnificent upon their floral perches.  A joyful tangle of colour oozes from these stunning compositions, the neons contrasting beautifully with muted natural tones. These Limited Edition artworks are inspired by the drawings of the greatest ornithological artists of his era, Edward Lear, who was also an illustrator, musician, author and poet.
